Can you please introduce yourself and share what you are currently engaged in?
“I’m Ligia Koijen Ramos, and I am thrilled to wear multiple hats as a philosopher, CEO of In2motivation, and a master coach. My days are beautifully divided between curating diverse courses, nurturing and preparing my team to be exceptional coaches and transformation facilitators, overseeing external coaches, and continuing to practice as a coach myself.”
Could you shed some light on the path that led you to where you are today? What educational background, life lessons, and mistakes have shaped your journey?
“My journey as a coach spans 25 years, and it unfolded quite organically. It was a natural progression fueled by my passion for studying philosophy, psychology, NLP, Breathwork, Embodiment, Yoga, Tantra, Coaching mastery, New Code NLP, Anatomy, family constellations, and numerous other disciplines. My curiosity about people has been a driving force behind my work. I have had the privilege of coaching in diverse settings such as schools, clinics, social organizations, and businesses, each contributing to my wealth of experience. Throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to studying human beings, various processes, and disciplines, all aimed at catalyzing sustainable transformations. I firmly believe that every individual possesses infinite potential and abundant qualities, far surpassing any perceived flaws. My purpose revolves around unlocking and serving that potential through a holistic approach, which involves releasing what no longer serves, organizing what does, and embracing a life lived to its fullest.”
Did you find the prospect of entrepreneurship daunting? How did you overcome any challenges you faced?
“Not particularly. In fact, I mentor other entrepreneurs, and I understand that entrepreneurship may not be for everyone, as it demands a certain mindset and level of commitment. The key lies in maintaining congruence - aligning our actions, values, and purpose. Being congruent in everything we do is paramount. This alignment empowers us to build a sustainable practice, where coaching is not just a service we provide but an embodiment of who we are.”
What types of clients typically seek your guidance, and why do they specifically choose you? Could you also elaborate on any areas of specialization you offer?
“I have the pleasure of working with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds. From the youngest, who was merely 2 years old, to individuals from various walks of life, seeking transformation and progress. Whether it's personal growth, professional development, or relationship dynamics, people turn to me with a desire for change. Additionally, I take pride in offering family coaching, a unique approach that involves working with the entire family simultaneously.”
What advice would you give to aspiring coaches and therapists who wish to establish their own practice?
“I have a simple but profound piece of advice that I share with my students: congruence. Congruence is the cornerstone of a long-lasting and sustainable practice. It is crucial to be congruent in our thoughts, actions, and values. Coaching is not merely a profession; it is a way of being. To truly make a difference, we must embody the coaching principles we espouse.”
How did you discover Stories?
“I stumbled upon Stories through Instagram videos. At that time, the atmosphere surrounding Stories resonated deeply with me, and I felt a strong connection to the platform.”
